"Creating the Reservoir Prebiotic Skin Fortifying Beauty Mist was a journey that began with a question: how can I hydrate skin while ensuring it retains that hydration long-term? Hydration is essential, but what if your skin struggles to hold onto it? I wanted to create a solution that does more than just hydrate. It had to strengthen the skin’s natural microbiome, nourishing it with the food it needs to thrive. A healthy microbiome helps your skin create a stronger barrier, keeping harmful elements out and letting it function at its best.
I dove deep into the world of plant synergies, discovering the perfect plants to nourish the skin’s microbiome. Through this exploration, I identified the ideal molecular chain sizes needed to truly support the skin. The formula I developed combines botanical waters and extracts to instantly hydrate, while carefully selected sugar molecules and humectants nourish the skin's beneficial bacteria. This helps repair and fortify the skin's barrier, especially after damage from over-exfoliation, harsh chemicals, or allergens.
